I hope you are back into the swing of things and geared up to finish out summer! School starts for those with kids in just 2-4 weeks!

So, I have heard a lot this week about business slowing down. Do not fret! There is still plenty of business to be had and lots of reasons for people to buy. Let’s start with a recent drop in rates, the tax credit, oh and are prices low right now? I’m not sure. Don’t let them get you down!

What can you do to ensure you have business? Don’t forget about the multiple streams or pillars of your business. The most important is referrals. Sometimes we forgot about this stream because it is so constant and on auto pilot. But, please don’t forget this one because you don’t want it to dry up…..Try these things to keep it flowing:

OK, so as it would be, I did record a video for you before leaving for vacation and now that I need to upload it, realize I didn’t get it on the internet before leaving – MY APOLOGIES! But, hey, these things happen. So, this week we are going old school with just text!

My tip of the week is to sit back, relax and enjoy yourself! Well, ok and I do have a little work for you to do. I am constantly telling you to work while everyone else isn’t. However, everyone needs some time to recharge their batteries. I can’t think of a better time than this weekend because it also marks the halfway point of the year. What a great time to reflect on what we have accomplished and look forward to what we need to do.

It is this time that I recommend reviewing your business plan and making adjustments to do more or less. I know a lot of people panic and think they will never make it. What I am here to tell you is that we still have plenty of time – 6 months! You can still reach your goals – even if you are behind. The smallest adjustments can have the biggest results!

If you were able to attend my seminar Agent Success 2009! I recommend pulling out the business plan, dusting it off and evaluating where you are and what you need to do from here. IF you were not able to attend just shoot me an email and I will arrange to get you a copy of the workbook so you can easily and quickly(less than 2hrs) create a full business plan with outlined tasks and goals.

Just remember that you can do anything you want as long as you focus on the right things!
